A servant leader operates on the principle of placing others first before themselves. A servant leader focuses primarily on the growth and well-being of people and community to which they belong.
I will lead by example. I am committed to a culture of caring and respect in the workplace. I will acknowledge the contributions of others and offer praise whenever possible. I will correct behavior that I consider inappropriate or inconsiderate to others or our core organizational values. I believe in doing what is right and in the best interest of our stakeholders.
I Believe:
- Commitment to our stakeholders goes beyond profits and that our commitment to our people and community should be at the center of our decision making.
- How we treat each other says more about who we are
I Value:
- Credibility: Saying what we do and doing what we say is core to the success of the organization and the foundation of our relationships
- Communication: Proper and effective communication minimizes errors
- Trust: Establishing trust is key to the success of any organization and its people
I Expect:
- Team members to express a can-do attitude
- Team members to be active participants to source solutions that drive the company forward
- Be honest and respectful towards each other at all levels of the organization
- Consider our mission when making choices and acting on decisions
I Disapprove:
- Poor attitudes or performance that impact the entire team
- Lying to cover up errors and being generally dishonest
I believe in a healthy business culture that operates ethically while pursuing profits.
